Currently, Sam is heading up campaigns for all Cookie Jar Shows, including Hello Again, Adele-The Journey So Far, Jimi-The Legend Lives on, Duets-It Takes Two and How Orchestral Night.
Sam is also currently working with Danny Rogers’ one-man show Bin and Gone, John Hewer’s celebration of Tommy Cooper Just Like That – The Tommy Cooper Show and James Hurn’s solo stage show Hancock and Co.
In the past, Sam has also worked with Mr Benn narrator Ray Brooks including co-ordinating the publicity for his second novel ‘Lies’ which included appearances on BBC Radio Scotland show The Culture Studio with Janice Forsyth and BBC Radio 2 programmes Steve Wright in the Afternoon and The Ken Bruce Show.
Fantom Films regularly employ me as a Publicist and my first assignment for the company in 2015 saw me oversee the PR campaign for Derek Fowlds’ autobiography A Part Worth Playing for which Daily Express and BBC Radio Scotland exposure was obtained.
My work for Caffeine Nights has included securing interviews for Joe Pasquale to promote his first book Deadknobs and Doomsticks and Colin Edmonds’ steampunk crime novel Steam, Smoke and Mirrors 11 – The Lazarus Curiosity.
Music PR experience includes generating interviews for The Searchers co-founder Mike Pender to promote The Sensational 60s Experience including many BBC local radio appearances and interviews with Bromley Times and Express and Star.
Other recent PR accomplishments include securing BBC interviews for Christine Ozanne’s memoir The Tome of the Unknown Actor, Craig Walker’s title On the Buses – The Filming Locations, Stuart Ball’s quiz book A Question of Carry On, Andria Lawrence’s debut novel The Olive Tree, Sam Kydd stage tribute Robert Ross presents: Jonathan Kydd – My Dad, Sam Kydd, Jonathan Kydd and Andy Street’s quirky wartime musical Doodle and achieving high-profile exposure of John Challis’s two comedy novels Reggie – A Stag at Bay and Reggie – In the Frame and stage show Only Fools and Boycie including Talksport show Hawksbee and Jacobs, BBC Radio 2 programmes Steve Wright in the Afternoon and The Radio 2 Arts Show, Channel 5 show The Wright Stuff and ITV1 programmes Granada Reports and Weekend.
